WHAT THE WHY ROOM IS

The Why Room is a 90-day Learning Zone. A deliberately constructed space for senior leaders to step out of the Performing Zone. This is where most leaders are expected to spend almost all of their time and still find time and space to de the thinking to prepare the business for the future.
Most leaders are not short of information. They are short of clarity. The Performing Zone produces data, pressure and pace. It does not produce the conditions in which genuine clarity is possible.
Most leadership development starts with how. How do we grow? How do we execute? How do we retain talent? Those answers are available everywhere.
The Why Room starts earlier. It begins with the question that comes before every how: why this, why now, and why me?
It does not stop at asking. The work in The Why Room produces something specific: the clarity to stop optimising the how and start being certain about the direction.

You are performing at a high level. The business is moving. And underneath all of it, you are carrying a question you have not had the space to ask properly.
Solo is ninety days of space to ask it.
Peter works with you one-to-one. Two sessions a month. On-demand access between them. The first thing you build is a business OKR. Not to cascade it down the organisation. To test your clarity against the reality you are actually operating in. The OKR is the instrument by which you find out whether the direction holds when the world responds to it.
By day ninety you will have something most leaders do not: a strategic direction grounded in your values, tested against reality, and expressed in language you can stand behind. The clarity to stop optimising the how and start being certain about the why.
This is not therapy. It is not mentoring. It is rigorous, private, advisory work with a practitioner who has done this himself and knows what the question costs when it goes unanswered.

Circle Why us?

You have done enough thinking alone. What you need now is a room where the pressure is on the question, not the answer.
Circle is a peer cohort of three to five non-competing CEOs and MDs. Growth-stage businesses. No hierarchy. No performance. Everyone in the room has completed the Identity Blueprint before they arrive, so the conversation starts at the level it needs to.
Three facilitated sessions over ninety days. Each member brings their business OKR to the group. The group pressure-tests it. Not to tear it apart. To make it better.
Between sessions, you hold each other to account. Not as a support group. As peers who understand what the question actually costs.
The particular value of non-competing peers from different sectors is this: they are not carrying your assumptions. They can see the direction that your own industry has made invisible to you.
